Video cards started to rise in price again

The latest 3DCenter report on the prices of video cards in Austria and Germany showed that we should not expect a drop in price in the near future. After a sharp drop in prices in July, video cards began to rise in price, despite all the efforts of AMD and NVIDIA to release GPUs.

The cost of the AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics card has been growing since the beginning of July. The price of the model is predicted to reach the March figures - 88% higher than the recommended retail price. This could happen as early as next month. The current cost in Austria and Germany is higher than the recommended one by an average of 83%.

NVIDIA is not doing much better. In the past month, the average price for graphics cards has risen 70% to 72% over the MSRP.
