Cancer cause # 1

Cancer-cause-1

In 2019, cancer overtook heart disease to become the leading cause of death in middle-aged adults in wealthy countries. 4 in 10 Americans will be diagnosed with cancer this year and nearly 600,000 people will die from the disease. But according to the World Health Organization, 30 to 50 percent of cancers are completely preventable.

How? The most common cancer-causing habits should be avoided. And the reason for the development of disease number 1 is smoking. The most common cancer is lung cancer, and smoking is the most common cause of lung cancer. Tobacco smoke contains 7,000 chemicals, of which at least 70 are carcinogenic, increasing the risk of cancer in almost all parts of the body. According to the WHO, tobacco use is the only avoidable risk factor for cancer death; it kills nearly 6 million people a year worldwide.

Also common reasons that can be avoided are eating too much sugar, processed meats and other foods (chips, soda, canned food, etc.), working night shifts, using talcum powder, using BPA-containing plastic, and others.
