Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, announced that amidst the company's poor financial results in the fourth quarter of 2022, parent company Alphabet will launch an AI-based chatbot analog to ChatGPT.
Pichai stated that 'responsible AI' is Google's main concern, which will help prevent issues of bias and incorrect responses that are inherent in technology that relies on user-generated content. He also announced that Alphabet will introduce new AI-powered tools in its daily workflow to improve efficiency.

'In the coming weeks and months, we will open up access to our language models for people to interact with directly; LaMDA will be first in line,' said Pichai.
